Steam pipe rotary dryer is indirect drying equipment with high capacity, low energy consumption. Heating media for drying uses 0.3-1.0 *** (G) steam extraction from steam turbine. Therefore, steam extraction from steam turbine dries coal for coal-burn boiler, and it is equivalents to “Combine heat & Power Generation� It means 70% heat for pre-drying of lignite in the boiler is from cold source, and balance 30% heat is from available potential energy. Steam extraction outside of the boiler as heat media for pre-drying reduce drying load of coal mill & boiler system to save coal consumption for evaporating water in the lignite to fulfill energy saving of steam extraction drying.
2) Off-gas in convention steam coal drying system is discharged directly without recovery. Therefore evaporation water from drying is wasted. This proposal recovers both heat and vapor in off-gas, and 95% water of coal drying evaporation will be recycled cleanly.
3) Inert gas (nitrogen) can be recycled for drying in the proposal, and scrubbing tower recycles heat and vapor in the off-gas, and the off-gas after heating return to the drying system as carrier gas for closed loop. At the moment, oxygen content is totally under control in the drying system, no drying off-gas releases into the air, so the system is more safe and environmental friendly. |
